[Survey] Friday Five, on time even.

1. Who is your favorite singer/musician? Why?
It be impossible for me ta choose me fav'rite ar-teest, y'see. I be changing me mind about that farr too often ta reeely honest about it. Me muscial taysts are rather eclectic. But for the sake of this question, I be naming Mister Al Yankovic. Arr.

2. What one singer/musician can you not stand? Why?
Billy Ray Cyrus. Cookie cutter country a career make not. Far better actor than musician, arr.

3. If your favorite singer wasn't in the music business, do you think you would still like him/her as a person?
A man like Al would probably either weird me out (ar ar ar), or be one of me best friends.

4. Have you been to any concerts? If yes, who put on the best show?
Aye, I have. I have seen Tori Amos, They Might Be Giants, Michael Bolton (save me soul), Tempest, The Refreshments, No Doubt, Bush and The Goo-Goo Dolls. Of them, me harties, the best would be a tie between TMBG and No Doubt. TMBG played the audience like they were one of their instruments. No Doubt had so much energy that they overshadowed the two bands they opened forr. Arr.

5. What are your thoughts on downloading free music online vs. purchasing albums? Do you feel the RIAA is right in its pursuit to stop people from dowloading free music?
YARR. I be a pi-rate! What ye be thinking?

To be quite honest, though, I be having more money, I would not be such a pi-rate. The RIAA be having it's point, but I still be thinking their methods are wrong. These pi-rates make no money off of this, unlike the music pi-rates of the past. Be giving them a break, arr. I bet the RIAA members used to pass along cassette tapes with songs when they were younger. Arr.
