Zero Punctuation - Demon Thing

Isn't it grand to be the last to know something that affects you the most... My manager at work got the ax on Friday, and I found out just yesterday at store close. Everyone else I spoke to knew about it already, and the managers on duty were doing the 'plausible deniability' thing.

My manager was one of the coolest, hardest working people in the store.

My updated resumes will be in the mail by Friday.

To hell with this place. If they're gonna get rid of the one person that made my area exciting (let alone bearable), then they can shove my little Customer Service Star pin up their colon. -_-

Don't Forget Your Towel...

Douglas Adams, creator of The Hitchhiker's Guide, Last Chance to See, Starship: Titanic, The Meaning of Liff and The Dirk Gently Series passed away suddenly of a heart attack while working out in a gym. He was 49. He is survived by his wife of ten years, and their six-year-old daughter.

Mr. Adams, whereever you may be... Thank you. You have been the greatest inspiration to me and my writing.

Remember your towel. We'll miss you.
